Ninamounah

With an intention to dissect the deeper layers of the cultural mantle found in fashion design, Ninamounah combines fashion with art to make the unusual usual. The Amsterdam-based label is driven by an interest in mankind. Creative director and designer Ninamounah Langestraat and brand director Robin Burggraaf take inspiration from sociological and historical structures within fashion to encourage humans to embrace one’s animalistic side. The seasonless collections include pieces made from reclaimed materials and deadstock fabrics. Classic pinstripe suits, shirts, French corsetry and motor garments are heavily reworked and restructured into sensual and subversive shapes.
