Kuboraum
Imagined in Berlin in 2012 by designer and artist Livio Graziottin and anthropologist-cum-director Sergio Eusebi, Kuboraum takes a unique approach to eyewear; viewing each piece as a mask that highlights the character of the wearer that in turn allows them to challenge their own identity through personal and exterior lenses. Inspired by bodyscapes, Yūgen, satori, ecology of minds and shamanic methods, Kuboraum objects are synonymous with accentuation, mockery and protection with regards to the self. Hand-crafted by artisans in Italy, silhouettes are architectural and avant-garde, materials are hard-wearing and technical whilst details are textured and experimental.
