Founded in 2010 by Borre Akkersdijk, conscious brand BYBORRE is the go-to design studio for responsible bespoke textile creation, pushing the boundaries of fabric innovation for Nike, The North Face, Daniel Arsham, MCQ, Diemme and many more. The Amsterdam-based innovators uses hand-rendered techniques in conjunction with circular knitting machines to discover new yarns for their collaborators and within their own collections. The archetypical clothing pieces in the studio’s own label form part of an important story about the relationship between material and machine, while embodying BYBORRE’s approach to design where process and product are equally important.
